Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Shri Bapusaheb D. D. Vispute College of Education, New Panvel had organized a National online seminar on “Emerging Trends in Educational and Research Quality” in association with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on 5th & 6th December 2020 through Zoom online platform and Facebook live with the objective to make available a platform for students, researchers, Academicians to listen experts on quality issues related to education and research and also to guide then on current A&A online process of NAAC . in presence of dignitaries, guest, resource person and participants followed by song of University Of Mumbai

WELCOME ADDRESS
Welcome of guest and participants and brief overview on seminar schedule for two days followed by welcome song and welcome address by Dr. Seema Kamble, Principal, Shri. Bapusaheb D.D Vispute College of Education, New Panvel

She had stated objectives of the Online National Seminar in detail and its possible outcomes in the form of solutions and remedies to different stakeholders of Higher Education. She welcomed the guests, dignitaries, participants on behalf of Shri. Bapusaheb D.D. Vispute College of Education, New Panvel and gave a brief overview on the objectives of the college.

RESEARCH JOURNAL PUBLICATION
Hon. Dhanraj Vispute, Chairman of Adarsh Group of Institute later in the programme an inaugural speech had been delivered by Hon. Shri. Dhanrajji Vispute, Chairman, Adarsh group of institute. In his inaugural speech he had talk about the quality initiatives taken by the Adarsh group of Institute to achieve and maintain the quality in every dimension and need of Assessment & accreditation of Higher Education Institutes.

INAUGURATION SPEECH
The present National Seminar had focused on the issues and challenges concerning the quality in education and research especially in the Higher Education Institutes addressing the human resources of different level engaged in the higher education. This Online National Seminar had joined different stakeholders of Higher Education to discuss how to overcome the quality problems and maintain the quality in Higher Education and research.

KEY NOTE ADDRESS
Key note address for the online national seminar was delivered by Hon. Prof. Rajneesh Shukla Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha, Maharashtra in which Prof. Shukla had expressed views on current status of quality in Indian education and research and need of quality assessment of Higher Education Institutes and shared his valuable thought on need of continuous assessment of institutes of Higher Education and integrity and ethics need to be followed while conducting research

TOPIC: ONLINE A& A METHODOLOGY IN REVISED ACCREDITATION FRAMEWORK
In the first session of day 1 which was taken by Dr. Vinayak Deshapande, Professor, Department of Business Management and Ex-Acting Vice chancellor Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur had guided on current accreditation and assessment process and quality benchmarks of NAAC through his presentation

TOPIC: RECENT TRENDS IN QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
In the Second session of day 1 Hon. Dr. Sunita Magre I/c Director, Thane Sub Campus, University of Mumbai had taken a session on Recent Trends in Qualitative Research and focused on research trends in qualitative research and quality concerns in research.

Dr. Chetana Sonkamble Dean, Interdisciplinary studies, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Martahwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra on the topic Emerging trends in research quality and focused on important quality dimensions related to research

Topic: Academic Audit of Higher Education Institutes
The second session of 2nd day of the online national seminar has been conducted by Hon. Dr.Avinash Shendre on the topic academic audit of higher education institutes focused on its importance in present situation. Dr. Shendre had discussed about the process academic audits in Higher Education Institutes and the role of Stakeholders in quality attainment in higher education

VALEDICTORY SESSION
In the Valedictory session Hon. Prof. Mohammad Siddiqui, Registrar of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad had shared his valuable thoughts on the quality of education and expected efforts for the future.

PARTICIPANTS FEEDBACK
Three participants from the International, National and Local level had given their feedback about the two
days online national seminar and shared their experience about the seminar.
Participants across the country and the world had been present for the webinar and were actively present through the online mode via ZOOM meeting and You Tube Live.
Total 55 research articles had been received for the publication in the research journal through this online national seminar
In planning and executing the present online national seminar the organizers had got valuable support from Hon. Dr. S.C. Sharma, Director NAAC, Prof. Suhas Pednekar, Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai, Dr, Ravindra Kulkarni, Pro-Vice chancellor, University of Mumbai, Dr. Ganesh Hegde, Advisor NAAC, Prof. Dr. Leena Gahane, Deputy Advisor, NAAC and Dr. A.V. Prasad, Assistant advisor NAAC and all the advisory committee members of the online national seminar.
